You will provide expert advice to families, carers and professionals, contribute to case reviews, support cooperative care planning, and work alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Key responsibilities

- As an Occupational Therapist Level 3 within the Sustaining NSW Families program, you will provide advanced clinical assessment, intervention planning and therapeutic support for children aged 0-2 years presenting with a range of developmental concerns and diagnoses.

- Working within a community-based multidisciplinary team, you will partner closely with families to deliver evidence-based, family-centred care that promotes optimal developmental outcomes.
n
- You will also have the opportunity to influence service quality through mentoring, clinical consultation and the implementation of best-practice approaches that support positive outcomes for children and families.
n




- The Occupational Therapist position is responsible for providing a specialist service to the vulnerable families within the Sustaining NSW Families Program.

What you need

n

- You are an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for early childhood intervention and family-centred practice.
n
- You have extensive experience assessing and supporting infants and young children with developmental challenges and can develop, implement and evaluate effective therapy interventions tailored to each child's individual needs.
n
- You are confident working within multidisciplinary teams, providing clinical consultation and building strong relationships with families, carers and partner agencies.
