About the Role
Reporting directly to the Workshop Controller, you will conduct Roadworthy Certificate inspections and ensure vehicles meet Victorian roadworthiness requirements before delivery or sale.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) inspections in accordance with VicRoads requirements
- Identifying defects and preparing vehicles to meet roadworthy standards
- Completing repairs and rectification work required for roadworthy compliance




- Performing vehicle safety inspections and documenting findings accurately
- Liaising with Workshop Controllers, Technicians, and Service Advisors regarding required repairs
- Maintaining detailed inspection records and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards
- Supporting pre-delivery and used vehicle preparation processes when required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Who We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience as an Automotive Technician or Roadworthy Certificate Inspector
- A current Victorian Roadworthy Tester Licence (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of Victorian roadworthy regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workshop environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current full Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
