With opportunities arising across our Queensland operations, we are looking for experienced and reliable OTR / Grab Truck Tyre Fitters to join our team.

About the role

This is a hands-on role working with large earthmoving and OTR tyres in a safety-focused environment.

Depending on your experience, the role may involve OTR tyre fitting and servicing, operating a grab truck, attending customer sites and supporting our Queensland operations as required.

You’ll be part of an experienced team where safety, reliability and getting the job done properly matter.

Responsibilities

- Fit, remove, repair and service OTR and earthmoving tyres

- Operate tyre-fitting equipment and, where appropriately qualified, vehicle loading cranes

- Attend customer and mine sites as required

- Carry out work safely and in accordance with RIMEX, WHS and site procedures

- Complete jobs efficiently and maintain accurate job documentation

- Inspect and care for vehicles, tools and equipment

- Identify and report equipment, tyre and safety issues

- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors and other team members





- Assist the wider team as required

What you’ll need

To be considered, you must have:

- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or equivalent relevant qualification

- Current HR driver’s licence

- Full Australian working rights

- Strong commitment to workplace and site safety

- Ability to undertake physically demanding work in outdoor and site environments

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to travel for work as required

- Willingness to obtain RIIHAN307E – Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane, if not already held

Previous OTR, earthmoving or grab truck tyre-fitting experience will be highly regarded.
