About us

Sanitair Bayside is a local Sanitair franchise servicing the Bayside, Mornington Peninsula, and greater Melbourne region. We specialise in cleaning and sanitising split systems and ducted air conditioning to support healthier indoor spaces.

We work in occupied homes and workplaces. Respect, care, and doing the job properly matter here.

What you will be doing

You will work alongside a Lead Technician and learn the process end-to-end:

- Set up job sites, protect floors and furniture, and keep the site tidy
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of indoor units
- Clean filters, coils and components using approved tools and products
- Help apply sanitising treatments as trained
- Vacuum, wipe-down and leave the space clean
- Use checklists and photos to document the job (training provided)
- Load and unload tools, chemicals, and PPE
- Travel between jobs across the local area, and support customer-friendly service

Training and pathway

We will train you step-by-step. A typical pathway looks like:

- Weeks 1 to 2: induction, safety, PPE, site setup, customer basics
- Weeks 3 to 8: supervised cleans, component handling, quality checks
- Month 3 onwards: higher responsibility and efficiency targets
- 6 to 12 months: pathway to Lead Technician for the right person (performance and business needs)





What we are looking for

This role suits someone reliable who wants to learn a trade-style skillset.

- Reliable and punctual. You turn up ready to work
- Presentable and respectful in customers' homes and workplaces
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting, and being on your feet all day
- Comfortable using ladders and working in roof spaces or tight areas when required
- Safety-minded. You follow instructions and use PPE
- Full Australian drivers licence (manual preferred)
- Basic tool confidence (or keen to learn)
- Able to pass a National Police Check and VIC Working With Children Check
- Good spoken English for customer interaction and safety
- Construction Industry White Card

Experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided for the right attitude.

Pay and employment type

- Casual role
- Hourly rate: $30 to $35 per hour + super (includes casual loading)
- Final rate depends on experience and the applicable award classification.

- Opportunity for performance bonuses once trained (performance-based and subject to business needs)

Location and travel

Based in the Bayside / Peninsula area. You will travel locally to homes and businesses across the region. Most days, you will be working with a Lead Technician on scheduled jobs and will be using a company-owned vehicle.
