About The Role

This position is an outstanding career opportunity for a Plant Mechanic / Diesel Fitter, preferably with a background in open-cut mining. This exciting role will provide diverse exposure to operations at Peak Downs Mine and our class-leading fleet of machines including the Liebherr 9800, Hitachi 5600 and a fleet of CAT 793 trucks, 18M & 24M graders & D11 dozers.

About The Role

n

Note: We require several diesel fitters.

- Permanent full-time role
n
- Based out of the Peak Downs Mine
n
- Preventative maintenance and availability
n
- Scheduled servicing, change outs and repairs
n
- Breakdown diagnostic support
n




- Strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement and technical excellence
n
- Contribute towards any improvements or initiatives relating to productivity or costs
n

Skills & experience

n

n
- Australian recognised trade completion certificate and minimum 3 years post trade experience
n
- Experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and/or CAT mining equipment essential
n
- Ex-OEM experience highly regarded
n
- Working at heights & EWP tickets
n
- Current ResHealth Medical and Standard 11 required
n
- Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills
