SDN Kensington - Senior Educator - Full Time

SDN Kensington is seeking an experienced Senior Educator to support our 3-4 year old room and inspire children's learning through meaningful, child-led experiences. You’ll plan and implement quality programs aligned with the EYLF, support educators and foster strong partnerships with children and their families.

About The Role

This will include:

- Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, promoting engagement and participation
- Drive observation, documentation, and reflective practices to enhance children's learning outcomes
- Create safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environments that support all areas of child development
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and child safety standards, maintaining a robust child-safe culture
- Support daily operations, routines, and wellbeing practices, including guiding children's care and development needs
- Model professionalism, positive behaviours, and strong working relationships across the service
- Mentor and support educators while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
- Lead the delivery, planning, and evaluation of high-quality early learning programs aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards along with the help of a Room Leader or ECT

About You

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with relevant industry experience in early childhood education and care is desirable
- Minimum 6-12 month's work experience in a early childhood setting 3-4 years room desired
- Child protection training and commitment to child safety GECCKO
- Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Current NSW Working with Children Check, current First Aid, CPR,



Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Food safety certificate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to child safety and inclusion
