LOCUM CHILD AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN - ASAP START

Salary: $80 - $160 per hour + Super + 'Living Away From Home Allowance' assistance
Location: Regional Victoria
Accommodation and Travel: Included
Hours:Monday - Friday, Full Time
Contract Length: 12 weeks initially with scope for extension

THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced Child and Youth Mental Health Clinicianswith strong clinical skills, and a background working with children, familiesand adolescents.

Working within a multi-disciplinaryteam consisting of Social Workers, Nurses and Psychologists, you will provide a range of services that could include community case management or intake to young children, adolescents and their families presenting with mild to very severe mental health conditions, including Schizophrenia. You must have strong experience completing mental health assessments of patients in crisis, and strong mental health assessment skills both within hospitals, and also the community.





This position offers the opportunity to work as part of an effective team, providing quality care to clients through the use of clinical skills within the scope of integrated services. The role gives exposure to a rural and regional healthcare service, partnering with larger health networks including, to ensure the role is supportive and fosters career growth across a range of areas.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Social Worker with at least 3 years experience working in hospital settings
- AASW eligibility
- Skills and experience working with children and adolescents within a clinical setting
- Community mental health and case management experience
- Ability to work within a rapid paced setting in a multi-disciplinaryteam
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
