Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation Lead

The Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation Lead will provide leadership and support to grow clinician researcher capacity and capability to enable a culture of research and quality improvement to be extended across all Allied Health Professions at South West Healthcare. It is responsible for the translation of evidence/research outcomes into clinical practice to drive improved delivery of healthcare

About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation Lead to provide leadership, support and expertise in building research capability and fostering a culture of enquiry, innovation and continuous quality improvement across Allied Health. This role will work collaboratively with clinicians and stakeholders to strengthen research capacity, support evidence-based practice, and translate research outcomes into meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery, quality and safety across the organisation.

What you bring

The successful applicant will be a qualified Allied Health professional who is undertaking, or has recently completed, a PhD in a relevant field and is passionate about advancing research and evidence-based practice. With strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you will have experience in research, education and knowledge translation,



and can effectively collaborate, influence and support others to drive innovation, quality improvement and better healthcare outcomes.
