About the Role

Every day is different in this hands-on, visitor-focused role across our iconicKoala Conservation Reserve and Churchill Island attractions. You'll welcome visitors from across Australia and around the world, helping create unforgettable experiences while promoting our commitment to conservation, eco-tourism, and sustainability.

From assisting visitors and answering enquiries to processing ticket sales through our point of sales (POS) and computer systems, you'll play a key role in ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and memorable visit. You'll also support our retail operations by showcasing and promoting our range of sustainably sourced products, helping visitors take home a meaningful reminder of their experience while contributing to our conservation mission.

About you

You thrive on creating exceptional, genuine, and inspiring experiences for every visitor and have a passion for wildlife and conservation. Your customer service is warm, engaging, and memorable.

You are confident using point-of-sale (POS)



systems and computer-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate the systems we use every day. You are also enthusiastic about retail and can effectively promote our sustainably sourced merchandise, helping visitors take home meaningful souvenirs that support conservation outcomes. The Benefits

Multiple part-time roles available with a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight

Scale 1hourly rate - $32.91 inclusive of hourly allowance for 7-day roster (Mon to Sun) & public holidays

Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated high level of experience in customer service

Previous experience in visitor engagement, sales and service duties within a fast-paced environment

Ability to provide high-quality service, information and guidance to a diverse range of visitors including non-English speaking visitors.

Experience in system use, point of sale, ticketing systems and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Proven ability to follow directions, de-escalate and resolve conflict and multi-task and prioritise in a diverse environment.

Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills
