Expressions of Interest Field Service Hydraulic Technicians

We're looking for experienced, trade qualified Field Service Technician's to join our team in Newcastle

This is a hands-on role covering hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, installations and breakdown maintenance across a diverse customer base, both onsite and in the workshop.

You'll work autonomously in the field while backed by a close-knit team, representing Berendsen Fluid Power on customer sites with reliable, high-quality service.

What you'll be doing

- Breakdowns & Field Service: Attend customer sites to carry out hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, and breakdown maintenance
- Hydraulic Diagnostics: Fault find and diagnose issues on hydraulic systems and components to restore performance
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed strip and inspect reports, including measurements and parts identification, ensuring compliance with specifications
- Technical Documentation:



Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide repairs and installations
- Customer Support: Build strong relationships with customers through professional, dependable service delivery

About You

- Trade qualification in Fitting, Hydraulics, or similar
- Strong experience with hydraulic systems, components, and cylinder repairs
- Proven strip & inspect reporting experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Current driver's licence
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Solid communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Commitment to workplace health & safety
