EXPERIENCED MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST Flexible Part-Time | Officer

PHYSIO ON GROUP is seeking an experienced or confident early-career physiotherapist to join our growing Officer clinic for three or four weekdays per week.

This position would suit a physiotherapist who enjoys musculoskeletal private practice, values clinical independence and wants the time, facilities and administrative support to deliver high-quality care.

You will work from private, one-on-one treatment rooms with no double-booking and access to a fully equipped rehabilitation gym and Clinical Pilates equipment. Our caseload includes private patients, WorkCover, TAC, NDIS and Medicare Chronic Condition Management clients.

The days and commencement date are negotiable. We are prepared to wait for the right clinician.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

- Independently assessing and treating musculoskeletal presentations




- Developing clear, evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Explaining assessment findings and expected recovery pathways to patients
- Prescribing progressive and practical exercise programs
- Managing private, WorkCover, TAC, NDIS and Medicare-funded clients
- Completing timely clinical notes, reports and relevant insurer documentation
- Communicating professionally with GPs, specialists, insurers and other stakeholders
- Contributing to a collaborative and clinically focused practice

ABOUT YOU

You will ideally have:

- Current general registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA
- At least two years of physiotherapy experience, preferably in musculoskeletal or private practice
- Sound musculoskeletal assessment, clinical reasoning and exercise-prescription skills
- Confidence managing a caseload with an appropriate level of independence
- Strong manual therapy and observational assessment skills
- The ability to clearly explain clinical findings and treatment recommendations
- Professional communication and accurate clinical documentationCurrent professional indemnity arrangements or willingness to obtain appropriate cover
- Full Australian working rights

Experience in the following areas is valued but not essential:

- Clinical Pilates and exercise rehabilitation
- Persistent pain and complex musculoskeletal presentations
- WorkCover and TAC rehabilitation
- Sports and post-operative rehabilitationVestibular rehabilitation or TMJ management
- Women's and pelvic health physiotherapy
- Occupational health and functional capacity assessment

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS

- $40-$52 per hour, depending on experience
- Commission-based earning opportunity in addition to a guaranteed base rate-you receive whichever amount is greater
