Transport Driver (HR Tilt Tray for Plant & Equipment)

J A & SON is an expanding business specialising in glass handling equipment, material handling equipment, mini cranes, access equipment hire, and much more. Established in 2013 we have expanded since then with equipment hire now located nationally around Australian and New Zealand.

We currently looking for an experienced tilt tray driver to be part of our growing team based out of our branch in Tottenham. As a tilt tray truck driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and timely transport services to our customers. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading various types of equipment and occasionally materials.

The position is for a Full time candidate. This job has flexible working hours Monday to Friday between 6:00am - 5:30pm, with a 40, 45 or 50 hour working week available. General start times will be at 6:00am however this time may vary slightly from time to time. Your experience will help to favour you to a higher hourly rate.

What role will you be doing.

Reporting to the Manager, this crucial role for transporting our equipment and material to customers in your own dedicated company tilt tray,



will assist with the company building better relationships with customers, ensuring they get what they need, when they need.

With modern and specialised equipment, this job will always keep you on your toes learning new products along the way. Experience in loading and unloading this equipment is highly favourable with on-the-job training for the specialised products.

Experience in the following area's will be highly regarded:

- Tilt Tray Driving
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Familiar with access equipment
- Familiar with material handling equipment
- Loading and unloading materials
- EWP Tickets and Forklift license

Applicants must have the following to be considered:

- Experience driving a tilt tray
- Experience with driving large trucks around the city, in and around tight places
- A good general knowledge of suburb directions and locations
- Great communication skills and problem-solving skills
- High regard for safety in the workplace and those around you
- Are reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Effective time management, taking pride in your work with an attention to detail
- English as your primary spoken language
