Love machinery, solving problems and helping customers — but perhaps don't want to spend every day underneath a machine anymore?

EXEQ is looking for a practical, mechanically minded Parts & Warranty Officer to join our Toowoomba team.

This could be a fantastic next move for an ex-mechanic, fitter, parts interpreter, service adviser, machinery operator or simply a great jack-of-all-trades who understands how things work and enjoys dealing with people.

You don't need to know every part number on day one. We're much more interested in finding someone who can look at a problem, ask the right questions and work out how to solve it.

What you'll be doing

You'll work within EXEQ's Parts & Warranty function, helping our customers and branches with everything from identifying a mystery part to progressing a warranty claim.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding to parts enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Helping customers identify the correct parts for their machinery.
- Providing practical and technical assistance.
- Sourcing and ordering parts from suppliers.
- Preparing parts quotations and assisting with parts sales.
- Coordinating freight and dispatch.
- Receiving and processing warranty enquiries.
- Lodging and tracking warranty claims.
- Following warranty claims through to resolution.
- Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical information and replacement components.
- Maintaining accurate warranty records and documentation.




- Assisting with parts inventory and stock control.
- Working closely with Workshop, Sales, Administration and our branches.
- Keeping customers updated rather than waiting for them to chase us.
- Helping identify recurring product or warranty issues.

EXEQ's formal Warranty & Parts function centres on accurate warranty administration, parts supply and timely support to our branch teams and customers.

About you

There isn't one perfect background for this job.

You might currently be a:

- Mechanic or diesel fitter wanting to get off the tools.
- Parts interpreter.
- Service adviser.
- Machinery or equipment operator.
- Agricultural, automotive or construction parts specialist.
- Or simply someone who has spent years figuring out how machinery works.

What matters is that you're:

- Mechanically minded.
- Practical and resourceful.
- Genuinely valuable with customers.
- A natural problem-solver.
- Organised.
- Persistent with follow-up.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Able to juggle multiple enquiries.
- Someone who takes ownership of a problem until it's sorted.
