We are seeking two experienced Pastry Cooks for mixing, weighing, following recipes, including lifting 25kg bags of ingredients, depositing, prepping tray, piping, spatula use. There will be thorough training on the job. The role will require lifting 25kg (e.g., sacks of flour) multiple times throughout the shift. You will be working in a team, assisting in the manufacturing of cakes, slices, muffins, banana bread and more. As a wholesaler, we make large batches of any one item.

Key responsibilities

- Mixing, weighing, and following recipes
- Lifting 25kg bags of ingredients multiple times throughout the shift
- Depositing and prepping trays
- Piping and spatula use
- Assisting in the manufacturing of cakes, slices, muffins, banana bread and more
- Accurately fill out HACP paperwork (batch records with ingredient information)

About you

- Physically strong, able to repeatedly lift 25 kg
- 2 or more years experience in a bakery production team
- Culinary qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English




- Ability to follow recipes
- Detail orientated, consistently taking outstanding pride in your work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
- Able to start shifts from 7am, Monday to Friday, working 38 hours
- Team leading experience an advantage
