Greater Hume Council operates four Long Day Care Centresacross Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Walla Walla, along with three Out ofSchool Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care services in Culcairn, Henty andHolbrook.

About The Role





Greater Hume Children's Services is seeking enthusiastic,energetic and confident individuals to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)and Vacation Care Team.

Whether you are looking for flexible casual work, arestudying in the education sector, or are seeking a rewarding role working withchildren, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As an OSHC and Vacation Care Educator, you will helpcreate a fun, safe and engaging environment for school-aged children byplanning and facilitating activities that support their learning, wellbeing anddevelopment. Every day brings something different, from creative arts andcrafts and outdoor adventures to games, sports and special holiday activities.

Positions are available at, or across, our Culcairn,Henty and Holbrook services, with versatile work arrangements including:

Before and After School Care

- Chooseto work split shifts, morning shifts, afternoon shifts or a combination ofboth.
- Idealfor those seeking work that fits around family, study or othercommitments.

Vacation Care

- Full-dayshifts of up to 8 hours during NSW school holiday periods.
- Opportunitiesfor additional hours while delivering exciting holiday programs forchildren.

Service Operating Hours

- OSHC:7.15am to 5.45pm during school terms
- VacationCare: 7.30am to 5.30pm

Henty





- OSHCand Vacation Care: 7.30am to 5.30pm

Holbrook

- OSHC:6.30am to 6.00pm during school terms
- VacationCare: 7.30am to 5.30pm

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Enjoyworking with school-aged children and supporting their development.
- Beenthusiastic, reliable and able to work positively as part of a team.
- Demonstratestrong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Becommitted to providing a safe, inclusive and engaging environment forchildren.
- Displaya genuine passion for education, recreation and child wellbeing.

Applicants must:

- Holda current Working with Children Check Clearance.
- Holda current National Police Check (issued within the last six months).
- Holda current Child Protection Certificate (Council can assist successfulapplicants to obtain this if required).
- Holda current First Aid and CPR Certificate suitable for working in educationand care settings.
