This newly created role will coordinate our Safety Management System (SMS), assist in administering our Quality Management System (QMS), and support managers across the organisation with compliance, risk and continuous improvement activities.

About the Position

This role will be responsible for maintaining key safety, quality and compliance frameworks across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, driving continuous improvement and supporting operational excellence across a growing healthcare organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) aligned to ISO45001 principles.

Administer the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned to ISO9001 principles.

Coordinate workplace safety inspections, audits and corrective actions.

Monitor incidents, hazards and improvement initiatives.

Support accreditation and audit preparation activities.

Manage document control and policy review schedules.





Track employee compliance requirements including licences and qualifications.

Monitor mandatory training compliance.

Maintain compliance registers and reporting dashboards.

Coordinate OHS Committee meetings and associated actions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

About You

You're an organised and proactive professional with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.

Demonstrated experience with ISO-based management systems.

Experience working within a Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), compliance, WHS or risk function

Experience maintaining compliance systems, records and reporting

Experience coordinating audits, inspections and corrective actions

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset

Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training.

ISO 45001 Internal Auditor training.

Diploma of Quality Auditing or equivalent auditing qualification.

Experience within healthcare, patient transport, or another regulated environment.
