- Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist, with professional registration/membership as per the Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award , plus significant clinical experience in adult therapy. Noting a minimum general registration period of 3 years is highly desirable. The Clinical Psychologist is a fully registered psychologist with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia with a masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology that the employer deems relevant to the functions of the position. The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part-time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components.
- Demonstrated advanced therapeutic skills in conducting psychological assessments, providing evidence-based interventions and evaluating clinical outcomes.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of psychological practice, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma-informed care and its application when working with families/carers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the provision of consumer-focused care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved consumer care and outcomes.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems.
- Ability to initiate, lead,



complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
