The Australasian College of Health and Wellness (ACHW) is expanding its Sydney - Alexandria teaching clinic and is seeking an experienced Dermal Therapy Clinical Educator / Facilitator to support and guide students in a live clinical environment. This role is ideal for an experienced dermal clinician/therapist or industry educator who is ready to step into structured education, while remaining hands‐on, clinic‐based, and closely connected to contemporary aesthetic practice. ACHW is a TEQSA‐accredited higher education provider delivering industry‐aligned qualifications in clinical aesthetics.

This is a fully on‐site role based in Sydney and is best suited to clinicians who value face‐to‐face teaching, professional mentorship, and collaborative team environments.

About The Role

n

Reporting to the Head of School, you will supervise and support students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics) during their practical clinical training. You will play a key role in developing students' clinical confidence, treatment skills,



and professional behaviours.

n

The role combines demonstration, observation, feedback, and assessment within a structured teaching clinic, ensuring students graduate work‐ready and aligned with industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver hands‐on clinical supervision and practical instruction
n
- Mentor students throughout their clinical learning journey
n
- Observe, guide and assess student treatments in line with best practice
n
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support skill development
n
- Promote safe practice, clinical reasoning and professional conduct
n
- Maintain accurate clinical and student documentation
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical teaching practices
n
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
n

Areas of clinical supervision may include

n

- Manual lymphatic drainage
n
- Electrical facial treatments
n
- Clinical microdermabrasion and chemical peels
n
- Skin needling and dermaplaning
n
- Light‐based therapies (hair reduction, rejuvenation, vascular and pigmentation treatments, tattoo removal)
n
- Plasma Pen
n

About You

n

You are a confident, experienced dermal clinician with a genuine interest in developing future practitioners.

n

Essential

n

n




- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Dermal Therapy, Clinical Aesthetics, Health Science or a related discipline
n
- Minimum 3 years relevant clinical experience within dermal therapy or aesthetics
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to build rapport with students and support diverse learning styles
n
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n

Highly regarded

n

n
- Previous experience teaching, training or mentoring within the dermal or aesthetics industry
n
- Experience working with students, graduates or junior clinicians
n
- Experience in a teaching clinic, RTO, higher education or brand education environment
n
- Confidence facilitating small groups (approximately 5–12 students)
n
- 5 years relevant clinical experience within dermal therapy
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a Graduate Certificate in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain if not already held)
n
