Your Opportunity

- Advocate for and support students through counselling, psychoeducational assessment, individual support, recommendations and advice relating to educational, behavioural, career, mental health and family matters.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and develop effective partnerships with parents, school staff and external agencies to provide comprehensive support, case management and referral services that promote student access and engagement in education.
- Provide counselling,



referrals and ongoing support to assist students with educational, personal, social, emotional and career decisions, including Senior Education and Training (SET) planning, career development and future pathway options.
- Undertake student observations and psychoeducational assessments to identify learning difficulties, disability, developmental needs and psychological or emotional concerns, and recommend appropriate educational adjustments and interventions. Support the implementation of student protection, gifted and talented education, behaviour support and risk management processes, including individualised student plans.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional records in line with policy and legislative requirements, contribute to career development and skill development programs, and provide specialised support for student protection matters, critical incidents, emergencies, transitions and intensive behaviour support.
