As CSDE staff are required to work onsite, the successful applicant will need to reside in the Cairns area.

- Chemistry (Year 11/12) - Physics (Year 11/12) and Junior Science (Year 8-10) - Temporary (21/01/2027 - 10/12/2027)
The successful applicant will deliver high-quality online learning in senior secondary science, with a focus on Chemistry (Years 11-12). Experience in Senior Physics and/or Psychology is highly regarded, with opportunities to support Junior Science (Years 8-10).

- Has strong curriculum knowledge and experience delivering Science aligned with the Australian Curriculum Version 9 and QCAA Senior Syllabi.
- Can design engaging lessons, assessments, and learning experiences suited to an online learning environment.
- Has excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues virtually.
- Is adaptable and able to respond to diverse student needs and learning contexts.
- Is confident using digital platforms, online learning systems, and technology to enhance student engagement.
