About The Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse – Acute Care Team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred mental health care, including clinical assessment, acute care, case management and crisis intervention.

Role

This position plays a key role in providing timely, compassionate and evidence-based acute mental health care, crisis intervention and support to consumers, families and carers across the Central Coast community. In this role you will:

- Provide expert mental health assessment, acute care, crisis intervention and case management.
- Collaborate with consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
- Coordinate timely, safe and evidence-based care to support positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement, professional development and the delivery of responsive mental health services.

About You We are looking for someone who has:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant mental health clinical experience.
- Recent experience in mental health assessment, acute care and crisis intervention.
- Strong clinical judgement and a commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and safe, high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills,



with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Resilience, integrity and accountability, with a genuine commitment to person-centred care and supporting consumers, families and carers.
