The Kew Golf Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Located just 15 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, The Kew Golf Club is one of Melbourne’s leading private golf clubs. Our hospitality operation caters for members and guests across à la carte dining, golf events, functions and special occasions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable chef looking to work in a professional kitchen where quality, consistency and teamwork are valued, while enjoying the stability and working setting that comes with a well-established private Club.

About the role

Working as part of our kitchen team, you will assist in delivering consistently high-quality food across our member dining, functions and events.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
- Managing your section efficiently during service
- Assisting with preparation for à la carte dining, functions and events
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Supporting stock control and minimising wastage
- Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and broader kitchen team
- Contributing ideas and supporting ongoing improvements to our food offering

About you

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified chef with relevant commercial kitchen experience




- Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food
- Is organised, reliable and able to work effectively during busy services
- Has strong food safety and hygiene practices
- Enjoys working as part of a positive and professional team
- Brings a constructive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
- Has flexibility to work across a roster that includes some evenings, weekends and public holidays

Experience in clubs, hotels, quality restaurants or function environments would be well regarded, but is not essential.
