About Us: Mexicali Bar Y Taqueria is a family owned and locally operated business that has been serving up outstanding Mexican food, beverages and good times for over 13 years in SEQ.

Our stunning open-air rooftop venue in Oxford St, Bulimba is architecturally designed and purpose built with custom fixtures and fittings to ensure a great restaurant workflow is achieved to maximise the space for our customers and team members.

We know the quality of our team, and training provided by management is paramount to ensure we achieve success, to deliver an exceptional experience to each our guests and to make the workplace a more enjoyable and rewarding experience each day you come to work with us.

What We're Looking For: We are gearing up for our upcoming Summer period and currently have the following open roles:

Waitperson:

If you're an experienced waitperson who loves to provide excellent hospitality and customer service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests, we want you to apply.

Your attention to detail, friendly demeanour, and ability to work under pressure will set you up for success in this role.

Extensive training in our products and service model will be provided to the successful applicant prior to commencing full capacity in the role.

Bartenders:

If you're a skilled and knowledgeable bartender with a passion for bartending,



crafting new cocktails and providing engaging bar experiences for our guests, we want you to join us!

Your confidence, expertise and helpful attitude will be key in enhancing our guests' overall enjoyment.

Your knowledge in Tequila, Mezcal, cocktails, wine and beer will be advantageous, however extensive training in our products and processes will be provided to the successful applicant.

Requirements:

- Commitment to providing a hospitable and engaging dining experience for our guests
- Confident, outgoing and friendly demeanour. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and stong work ethic. Able to work nights and weekends is a must
- High attention to detail with an 'above and beyond' mantra to ensure our guest expectations are exceeded every time
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to work through any issues which may arise during a busy service
- A leadership attitude, consistently setting the bar high for all team members
- Collaborate with management and following direction as improvements to systems and procedures are rolled out
- Ideally 2 years minimum experience in a customer facing hospitality role, including serving customers in a restaurant setting and cocktail bartending
