You’ll report to the Director of Clinical Services – Mental Health and collaborate with a team of consultant psychiatrists and registrars who value shared expertise and collective problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment in a community-based setting.
- Provide expert leadership, advice, and consultation to GPs, healthcare professionals, service providers, and carers across the region.
- Drive the regional implementation of the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Taskforce recommendations, ensuring best practice care.
- Build robust partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Chief Psychiatrist and local GPs, to deliver seamless, coordinated care.

What you need

- This is subject to the assessment of qualifications, clinical skills and years of practice.
- Be eligible for registration by the Medical Board of Australia.
- Substantial clinical experience in general adult, child, adolescent and youth mental health.
