Team members will contribute to shaping a new destination that values authentic storytelling, premium hospitality, and thoughtful guest experiences.

Role Description

The Senior Signature Host is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, SA, responsible for leading the guest experience at The Vantage Semaphore. This role oversees daily guest interactions, welcomes arrivals, coordinates check-in and check-out, and ensures guests receive tailored recommendations and curated experiences during their stay. The Senior Signature Host guides and supports front-of-house team members, helps train new staff, and collaborates with management to refine service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating bookings, liaising with food and beverage service, managing guest inquiries and feedback, and promoting estate offerings and local experiences in alignment with the property’s luxury positioning. The role requires an attentive, professional presence on the estate floor throughout operating hours,



with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and peak tourism periods.

Qualifications

- Robust Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver a seamless, personalized guest experience.
- Experience in Training and mentoring hospitality staff, including setting standards and supporting ongoing development.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including coordination with kitchen/bar teams and understanding of premium guest offerings.
- Sales skills, including upselling experiences, packages, and estate services while maintaining a guest-first approach.
- Previous experience in luxury or boutique hospitality, tourism, or hotel front-of-house leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay calm under pressure, and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
- High level of professionalism, personal presentation, and reliability, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
- Familiarity with booking systems or property management software; basic digital literacy and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of local Adelaide and South Australian attractions, culture, and heritage, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality, tourism, or customer service are advantageous but not mandatory.
