The Adult Community Health Service includes Chronic Conditions Management, Community Rehabilitation, Post-acute, and Persistent Pain Management service. The multidisciplinary team works closely with acute services and Primary Care including General Practice and many other non-Government services to enable clients to better self-manage their health. Oral Health, Sexual Health, Home Support Programs, ACAT and Child, Youth and Family Services are co-located onsite.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will…

- Exercise independent professional decision–making and judgement on a day–to–day basis and provide professional advocacy beyond routine practice.




- Apply contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and Queensland Health policy.
- Provide professional supervision to more junior staff and facilitate university student clinical placements as appropriate.
- Develop and promote the Physiotherapy role through accountable multidisciplinary team involvement, care planning and delivering in-service professional education in liaison with Physiotherapy Clinical Lead.
