We're working with a well-established FMCG manufacturing business in Cooma that is expanding its maintenance team and is looking for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitters.

482 visa sponsorship/transfer support may be available for eligible candidates already in Australia.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on Maintenance Fitter position supporting a busy FMCG manufacturing facility.

You’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and reliably through:

- Breakdown response and fault finding

- Preventative and corrective maintenance

- Mechanical troubleshooting

- Maintenance of conveyors, chains, hydraulics and pneumatics





- Supporting plant and workshop maintenance

- Completing maintenance work orders through CMMS

- Working closely with production and engineering teams

- Maintaining accurate maintenance records

- Supporting a safe and efficient production environment

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

- Minimum Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade – essential

- Minimum 1 year Australian maintenance experience – essential

- Previous FMCG or manufacturing maintenance experience

- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills

- Experience working in an industrial or continuous production environment

- A reliable and safety-focused approach

- Willingness to relocate to Cooma, NSW

This opportunity is specifically open to candidates already living in Australia.

Visa support may be available for suitable candidates who:

- Are currently in Australia

- Hold relevant Mechanical Trade qualifications

- Have Australian maintenance experience

- Have FMCG/manufacturing experience

- Meet the relevant requirements for 482 sponsorship/transfer

This may suit candidates currently holding a temporary Australian visa who are looking for an employer-sponsored pathway.

Relocation Support

Moving to regional NSW is a big decision, so the employer can provide relocation assistance of up to $5,000 to help make the move easier.

Shift Times

The role operates across the following shifts:

- Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm

- Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

- Late: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
