About This Role

Your new role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred mental health assessment and intervention services within the Emergency Department at Redland Hospital, working collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team.

- Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, therapeutic interventions, patient education, care management and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Manage an allocated clinical caseload, applying evidence-based practice, sound clinical judgement, effective prioritisation and accurate clinical documentation.
- Build strong partnerships with patients, families, carers, health professionals, students and external agencies to support positive, person-centred outcomes.

About You You are a compassionate and capable mental health professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care.

- You bring relevant clinical knowledge and experience in Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work, with the ability to undertake comprehensive assessment and intervention within an emergency mental health setting.
- You demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families,



carers and a broad range of health professionals.
- You can effectively manage competing priorities and clinical workloads while maintaining high standards of documentation, professional practice, patient safety and quality care.
