The Role

We are currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience.

The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.

Our Location

Hospital Area 2 is a maximum to minimum-security facility.

Long Bay

Hospital 2 houses inmates from across the state who come to Sydney for specialist medical treatment or assessment as well as inmates on remand.



The centre is located on the Long Bay Correctional Complex 14km south of Sydney's central business district. The work location offers free onsite parking, gym and subsidised café options within the complex making life a little easier.
