Planning menus, estimating costs and ordering food supplies
Discussing food preparation with managers, kitchen staff and wait staff
Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Taking stock of ingredients and equipment and placing orders to replenish stock
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Coordinating, training and assisting staff.
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
