Senior Hazardous Materials & Occupational Hygiene Consultant
I'm recruiting an experiencedHazardous Materials / Occupational Hygiene Consultantfor a specialist consultancy in Adelaide.
This is a senior technical position rather than a heavy people-management role.
You'll be thesenior technical person within the Adelaide team, working on the more complex projects, reviewing work and helping develop less experienced consultants.
The role
You'll be involved in:
ComplexHazMat and Occupational Hygiene projects
Asbestos surveys, air monitoring and clearance inspections
Occupational exposure assessments
Technical review of reports
Client advice and project coordination
The work covers a valuable mix ofindustry, infrastructure, defence, education and facilitiesprojects.
I'm looking for:
Around6+ years' HazMat / Asbestos / Occupational Hygiene experience
Relevant degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, Science or Engineering
Strong technical and report-writing skills
Comfortable dealing directly with clients
SafeWork SA Licensed Asbestos Assessorwould be a big advantage – or the ability/willingness to obtain it.
This would suit someone who enjoys beingtechnically hands-onand wants more influence without necessarily wanting to become a full-time people manager.
