The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you are a leader on the floor that is focused on ensuring resident safety, wellbeing, and personalised care.
You day-to-day role will include:
Create, manage, and adjust care plans for residents, ensuring they are well informed about the care they decide on
Build rapport with residents and ensure personalisation of care to meet their preferences
Check-in with team of RNs, ENs, and PCWs, to ensure breaks are taken, handovers have been done, and that everyone is supported
Clinical meetings require participation, so make sure you bring your ideas to the table
Accurate documentation, and high attention to detail when administering medications for each med round
Be a team player that is willing to help others
Must Have
Experience as a Registered Nurse, with confidence in your clinical judgement in a residential aged care facility
Understand the 7 Aged Care Standards, and how this is assessed
Up to date compliance for Aged Care
Valid working rights in Australia
