About the role:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiatingtechnology, logistics, supplier, partnership, NDA and product agreements.
Providing commercially focused advice to internal stakeholders on contractual negotiations and legal risk.
Advising onAustralian Consumer Law, including pricing, promotions, misleading and deceptive conduct and product quality.
Advising onprivacy, data protection, intellectual property and product liabilitymatters.
Supporting compliance with theCorporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
Developing and maintaining internal legal and risk policies.
Supportingdisputes, mediation, arbitration and litigation, including regulatory requests, subpoenas and letters of demand.




Managing external law firms and ensuring advice is commercially appropriate and cost-effective.
The ideal candidate:
Australian-admitted lawyer with 5 years'+ PQE, gained within an in-house corporate legal environment or commercial law firm.
Strong commercial contracting experience.
Comfortable advising senior stakeholders in a practical and solutions-focused way.
Experience within retail or eCommerce, particularly involving Australian Consumer Law, privacy and data, IP or product liability, will be highly regarded but is not essential.
