As a Case Manager within our Child, Youth & Family team, you will develop and implement case plans that respond to the individual and evolving needs of children and young people in Life Without Barriers care.
You will build and maintain strong, effective relationships with children and young people, their families, and carers, supporting the achievement of individual goals through tailored strategies and interventions. This includes facilitating family reunification where appropriate, supporting transitions to permanent living arrangements,



and enabling step-downs to less intensive placement settings that promote long term stability and wellbeing.
This role is offered as a permanent full time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 5pm with one Rostered Day Off allocated each month. Regular travel across the Goulburn, Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions is a requirement of this role.
Role Requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree, or a relevant diploma and be working towards a degree. (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience and a willingness to undertake further training)
Previous case management experience within an Out Of Home Care (OOHC) setting
Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect.
Understanding of current casework practices for children and young people
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
