You will lead major projects working for blue chip clients within the industrial sector.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Project Team Support: Assist the Project Manager and senior team members in delivering project outcomes.
n
Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all documentation and reporting meet standards; maintain accurate records, prepare contract documents, progress reports, and track variations; draft and issue meeting minutes and action items for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings.
n
Contract Management (Subcontractor): Administer, negotiate, and manage construction contracts ensuring compliance; seek advantageous outcomes; source quotes, analyse and evaluate tenders against budget; prepare and present tender results; prepare, issue, track, and close out contracts; negotiate and award contracts; process progress claims and invoices; monitor performance and handle variations.

Client Contract Management:



Support administration of the Head Contract; prepare client variations, maintain registers, and Requests for Information.
n
Cost Control: Assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, cost analysis; prepare and track progress claims, variations, cashflow, and forecasting
n
Project Management: Review and maintain construction programs; prepare and track Extensions of Time and Notices of Delay; obtain permits and certifications; create handover documents.
n
Administration: Ensure correct use and compliance with project software like Aconex.
n

Skills Required

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build trust.
n
Proficiency in contract management software, e.g., Jobpac, PayApps, Hammertech.
n
Capacity to work autonomously while mentoring others and willingness to learn and contribute
n

to team growth in a dynamic environment
n
n
Completion of a construction cadetship program or equivalent experience is preferable
n
Regular travel to site as required
