The Role:
n
Reporting to Operations Manager, the Project Manager's role is to provide tailored solutions to clients' complex logistics requirements for oversized & heavy lift cargoes by providing intelligent advice and efficiently managing project execution. Responsibilities include,



but are not limited to:
n
Preparing and formalizing quotes for clients
n
Leading new business meetings following established sales process
n
Work in conjunction with Team specialists to investigate transport options based on scope of project
n
Establishing and maintaining communication with clients and suppliers throughout projects
n
Booking directly with Carriers to / from various locations
n
Managing project budget and costing in line with quotation
n
Document control and reporting as required
n
Deal with Customs and all other government authorities relating to import / export clearances
n
The successful applicant MUST have...
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
n
Extensive experience with Project Freight, Break Bulk, RORO cargo, and chartering
n
Experience in cartage coordination and international cargo management
n
Be able to travel both domestic and international to support the operational needs of the business
n
Excellent skills with software such as: EDI Cargowise, Microsoft products
