Clinical Support Representative, Cori Product Specialist – Sydney

This role will provide clinical support across the state to customers in the assigned territory, under guidance from the Territory Manager and direct line manager, and in line with sales and marketing strategies. The person in this role will be the subject matter expert for CORI providing case coverage and account support for new and existing customers by training surgeons and hospital staff to technological proficiency. This role will play a key role in Orthopedics as we focus on driving the adoption and utilisation of CORI for knee & hip arthroplasty.
What will you be doing?
Provide exceptional clinical support to customers on organisation products, maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Support surgical procedures in the hospital environment on a range of products on an 'as required' basis and lead training activities for hospital and Smith & Nephew Surgical office team members.
Support the maintenance/ development of customer profiles/ preferences.
Enhance operating efficiencies across the state including but not limited to management of surgeon preferences, with integration and interaction via warehouse, logistics and Customer Service.
Manage assigned cases ensuring all company policies and protocols are followed with particular focus on the safety and compliance elements.
Develop and maintain strong customer advocates for Smith & Nephew product portfolios in the assigned territory.
Ensure the execution and reporting of clinical and marketing activities in territory.
Actively monitor market trends, staying up to date on competitor activities and respond as relevant.
Foster good teamwork,
communication and execution across the state sales and clinical teams.
Participate as an active member and at all scheduled meetings (Regional/National Team).
Provide support to team colleagues through sharing information, problem solving, contributing innovative ideas, and offering constructive opinions - leading to improved individual and team effectiveness.
Adopt a continuous improvement approach to all work processes, by utilizing sales automation to improve workflow, time management, communication and increase client contact time.
What will you need to be successful?
Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related discipline.
Proven experience in orthopaedics and/or endoscopy clinical support in related medical devices or Health Care setting.
Strong clinical skills (3 years medical device experience).
Strong understanding of orthopaedics and/ or endoscopy therapies products and industry.
Good understanding of the AU public and private healthcare system.
Computer proficiency in MS Office and SalesForce.com.
