Commercial Construction Site Manager - Townsville and Brisbane

V2R Projects is seeking experienced Site Managers to join our Brisbane and Townsville teams. We are an established commercial construction contractor delivering projects across Queensland with a strong portfolio of work across state and federal government, commercial, defence and health sectors. Our team specialises in technically challenging projects and operational high-compliance environments where safety, quality and security are paramount.

The Role
n
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial construction and fit-out projects ranging from $1M to $8M, ensuring safety, quality, and program objectives are consistently achieved.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Managing client project sites to meet their operational and compliance requirements
n
Managing the day-to-day delivery of building and fit-out projects
n
Coordinating subcontractors and managing construction sequencing
n
Managing and updating construction programs, schedules, and daily site activities
n
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard
n
Monitoring works and conducting regular quality inspections
n
Maintaining site safety compliance in line with OH&S; requirements
n
Proactively identifying and resolving on-site challenges
n
Working closely with the Project Manager and broader project team
n
Engaging with clients, consultants and other key stakeholders
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role,



you will bring the following skills and experience:
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within commercial construction
n
Demonstrated experience delivering building and fit-out projects
n
Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage multiple trades and meet deadlines
n
Solid understanding of construction methodology and subcontractor management
n
Strong focus on site safety and quality control
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
Ability to operate as a key member of a project team
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
Experience on Defence projects is highly regarded
n
Ability to meet Defence site access and security requirements, including eligibility to obtain a DCAC pass
n
Experience with construction management platforms including Procore and 1Breadcrumb is highly regarded
n
