Job Description
The Clinical Educator functions as a clinical and product expert and is responsible for working with the ICU Medical sales team to advance the sales process and maximise customer satisfaction through in-service education and training programs, clinical and product troubleshooting, including follow-up activities.

Conducts and leads in-services and educational sessions relative to ICU products during evaluations, conversions, and trouble-shooting
n
Promotes/sells/secures
opportunities for product training & support from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
n
Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs in collaboration with sales & management team
n
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of product range and clinical application
n
Assists the sales team with the provision of effective clinical support, teaching and education of ICU products
n
Delivery of programs to support ICU products in the clinical setting
n
Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to customers as directed
n
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for current products and services as required
n
Keeps up to date with product applications, technical services, and changes in clinical demands
n
Participates in trade shows and conventions as required
n
Awareness and alignment to ICU Medical's QMS policies and procedures
n
Observance and compliance with WHS legislation and policies
n
n
Knowledge,
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is required, however previous registration will be considered
n
Commitment to a high standard of nursing care
n
Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills
n
Understanding of teaching and learning in the healthcare environment
n
Ability to determine clinical solutions for customers
n
Effective communication & interpersonal skills with problem solving ability
n
Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment
n
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
n
Must have Australian or New Zealand working rights
n
Must have a valid driver's license
n
Must have, or must be able to obtain, clearance to access
hospital/medical/healthcare
facilities, including paediatric facilities
n
n
Travel Requirements:
n
n
Requires regular travel, local as well as interstate (could be up to 50% of the time), this may include overnight travel
n
n
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
n
n
Customer site visits may require work to be performed within a hospital or clinical setting. Guidelines established for working in such an environment must be followed
n
Regular driving is required in order to travel to customer sites
n
n
Please note that this role is hybrid and must be performed from the location specified in this advertisement; fully remote arrangements or relocation to another location are not currently available.
