Applications are invited for a Medical Oncology Fellowship at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) for the **** clinical year. This 12‐month, fixed‐term fellowship offers an outstanding opportunity to build advanced clinical and research capability within a highly regarded regional oncology service.

You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive consultant team, gaining broad exposure across medical oncology while contributing meaningfully to patient care, clinical trials and research — all within a service deeply connected to metropolitan partners.

About The Role
n
As a Medical Oncology Fellow, you will be a core contributor to the oncology service, with a balance of outpatient, inpatient, research and teaching responsibilities.
n
Your Clinical Experience Will Include
n
n
Medical oncology outpatient clinics four days per week
n
Active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
n
Inpatient oncology care and consultant-led ward rounds
n
Involvement in clinical trials and independent research
n
Participation in after-hours and weekend oncology rosters
n
Teaching and education of junior medical staff and students
n
n
You will be supported to grow both clinically and professionally, with access to supervision, mentorship and education opportunities.

About You
n
You are a motivated clinician with a genuine interest in medical oncology and research, and you thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have

A medical qualification with relevant oncology training
n
Eligibility for specialist registration (or actively working towards)
n
An interest in clinical research and trials
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
A patient-centred approach to care
