Position Description
n
The Social Media Manager & Video Director will work closely with clients to build their brand identity and presence across social media. They'll have their finger on the pulse with all things social media - from best-practice, trends, to platform-updates - and use this knowledge to create social content from concept to delivery.
n
For this particular role, ideally you will have had experience in the financial services sector. This role will be predominantly working on creative for a financial company.

Responsibilities
n
n
Content Management - write, plan and create content for always on and paid social media activity
n
Social Strategy - have your finger on the pulse with all things social, using insights, results and trends to continuously improve content and identify opportunities for clients
n
Content Director - work with JN creatives to visualise, storyboard and create director treatments
n
Director: Direct shoots and talent. Work with JN creatives and producers to bring a shoot to life. Have a strong background in creating directors treatments.

Content Creation - Work with production teams consisting of shooters, editors, animators and designers to get content made
n

Skills
n

Understand culture and can spot a trend on social as it emerges
n
Has a passion for social-first video content and a full understanding of the best specs, lengths and practices
n
Confident taking creative ideas and turning them into social directors treatments
n
Confident briefing and providing feedback to editors, designers and creators to ensure content is on-brand and fit-for-channel
n
Has strong organisational and communication skills, capable of multi-tasking various projects
n
Detail oriented, ensuring quality control of all internal and external work
n
Takes on board feedback well, showing empathy at all times
n
Listens to clients and understands their challenges and how we can help solve them
n
Can get on the tools to create content if needed (e.g. Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, filming on a phone, etc.)

Performance Measurement

The performance will be determined based on their ability to:

Consistently deliver social-first content on time and on budget
n
Identify opps for their clients to latch onto new social media trends, platforms and content techniques
n
Keep their clients happy and constantly coming back to Jack Nimble

Demonstrate leadership qualities and an ability to work independently
