Salary range ($92,632 to $102,936)

Established in ****, the ArtGallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney's The Domain adjacent to theRoyal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the
Galleryacknowledges
the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people.

The Art Gallery attracts around 2.6 million visitors annually and runs Australia's largest education program withover 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.

With our expanded campus the Art Gallery hasa new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-lovedbuilding. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded ArtGallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family,learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

About the Role
n
Support the Chief curator in the management and delivery of exhibitions and related projects, including publishing; in the overall care, conservation, acquisition, research, interpretation, exhibition and display of the collection; and with curatorial administration and general support.
n

What Technical/Soft Skills you require
n
n
Tertiary degree in art history or equivalent and knowledge of the department's art coupled with curatorial experience or equivalent professional training in the arts sector, art gallery or art museum sector.
n
Proven experience in writing and researching to an academic standard, the ability to use Vernon CMS and/or other databases, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work responsively, dynamically and collaboratively on a wide range of curatorial projects and related programs.
