We're looking for a capable
Senior Accounts Officer
to join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. You'll work across the finance function of a national business, with exposure to reporting, budgeting, controls and day-to-day accounting operations, directly alongside our Financial Controller.
What you'll be doing
General ledger and month-end processes
Processing weekly payroll and completing payroll reconciliations
Preparing P&L; and balance sheet reports
Overseeing and supporting AP and AR functions
Investigating discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
Assisting with internal and external audits
Working closely with the Financial Controller on broader finance matters
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (preferred)
Experience processing payroll
Strong problem-solving skills and commercial thinking
Robust Excel and financial analysis skills
Pronto or Employment Hero experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Availability to work full-time from our Pinkenba office
