The Opportunity

Due to consistent growth and success across our business, Hardchrome Sales is now seeking a Cylindrical Grinder to join our well-equipped workshop located at Welshpool WA ****.
n
We are looking for Afternoon shift 3.30pm till midnight Overtime is available.
n
You will be hands-on with operating various sizes of cylindrical grinders (up to 5 meters long) and completing tasks such as grinding chrome off rods, polishing them for chroming, and finishing jobs post-chroming. Training will be provided where required.

About You
n
n
Proven experience as a grinding operator or experience with hard chrome plating
n
Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisory role (desirable)
n
Read drawings, interpret written and verbal work instructions
n
Ability to read and measure with metric and imperial micrometers (desirable)
n
Able to lead by example and support a small team of operators
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n
Ability to prioritise workloads, allocate tasks, and maintain workflow efficiency
n
A proactive and positive 'can do' attitude with a commitment to safety
n
