Executive Director of Care, Chief Nurse and Midwife
Permanent Full-Time - 76 hours per fortnight

Executive Director of Care, Chief Nurse and Midwife

Reporting directly to the
Chief Executive Officer
, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across
Acute, Community and Residential Services
. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will champion the MDHS
Vision, Purpose and Strategic Direction
, while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care within a strong clinical governance framework.

Qualifications / Experience
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Specialist Expertise
To excel in this role, you will bring a strong combination of
strategic leadership, technical expertise and people leadership
, including:
Developed knowledge of and hands-on experience with
Activity Based Funding and Residential Funding
Working knowledge of
health accreditation standards
, including National Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards
Strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities, with the ability to conduct
business and performance analysis
and implement effective strategies
The ability to set clear standards, targets and objectives - and achieve them by
inspiring and influencing the performance of others
Demonstrated success in
building high-performing teams
and managing staff with confidence and compassion
A proven track record of cultivating a
positive and inclusive workplace culture
