Allcott Hire is one of Australia's leading equipment hire companies. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented, energetic and customer focused team player to work at our new location in Raceview, Ipswich.

MAIN TASKS
n
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate: -
n
n
the safe and competent operation of Hi-Ab crane on our delivery truck, Current MR licence is required.
n
The ability to competently load, restrain, transport, and unload a variety of plant and equipment
n
Sound written and literacy skills for the accurate completion of paperwork.
n
Deal with on-line and telephone enquiries and orders from customers to ensure all orders are interpreted and delivered to the specifications required.
n
Liaise with the Allcott Hire team including otherhire controllers, branch managers, drivers and service people to ensure that equipment is available, maintained and ready to be delivered to our customers
n
Process hires, off hires, transfers and exchangesusing BasePlan (hire industry software).
n




Process manual paperwork when necessary
n
Operate and maintain the daily diary recording ofall equipment movements including the reporting of errors and discrepancies to your supervisor
n
A protected clean driving history (may need to do deliveries)
n
n
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
n
n
Flexibility in relation to hours worked (after hours and weekend work available)
n
Computer operation skills at a basic to intermediate level
n
Microsoft Office software skills at basic-intermediate level
n
Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff and management
n
A current driver's license
n
A physical fitness level to carry out light manual handling duties
n
Being mentally fit to deal with the daily activities of the equipment hire industry
n
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
n
A good command of the English language
n
n
