With a solid reputation for making a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals, they are committed to creating positive outcomes through compassionate service, innovation, and responsible stewardship of resources Job Description Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Month-end and year-end close processes Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Preparation of statutory and compliance reporting Support audit requirements and liaise with external auditors Cash flow monitoring and reporting Review and improve financial processes and controls Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and support Ad hoc finance projects as required The Successful Applicant CA or CPA qualification (or near completion) Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role Strong technical accounting and reporting skills Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with ERP/accounting systems Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care, community services, or government sectors will be viewed favourably, although not essential What's on Offer Temporary role offering exposure to the Not For Profit sector.
