Today, its interests encompasshigh-end residential and commercial construction, property development, and an extensive commercial and residential property portfolio held across multiple entities.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with theSenior Leadership Team of which
theSeniorFinancialControllerwillbe
a key
member,providingstrategic
financial leadership and commercial insight across the Group.
n
With forecast annual turnover of approximately$40 million, this is a broad executive role encompassing Groupfinancial management, construction and project performance, property and development interests, treasury,riskand governance.
n
TheSeniorFinancialControllerwill
lead and further develop the finance function, including the appointment of asecondFinancial Controller, andestablishthe financial capability, disciplines and systemsrequiredto support the Group's continued growth.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Strategic financial and commercial advice to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team
n
Group management reporting,
budgeting,forecastingand
financial planning
n
Cash-flow,
treasury,bankingand
capital management
n
Construction financial performance, including job costing, WIP, project forecasting and margin analysis
n
Financial oversight of the Group's property investment and leasing portfolio
n
Property development
forecasting,feasibilityand
financial performance
n
Group structures,
intercompanyreportingandconsolidatedfinancial
oversight
n
Commercial contracts, insurance, financialriskand
governanceincluding
compliance
n
Financial
systems,controlsand
continuous improvement
n
Management of internal and external stakeholder networks including financiers and consultants
n
Leadership and development of the Group finance function and team
n
Contribution to strategic planning,
investmentdecisionsand
the execution of the Group's five-year growth strategy
n

The Executive
n
We areseekinga highly credible finance leader who combinesstrong technical capability with commercial judgement and strategic perspective.
n




The successful candidate will ideally bring senior financial leadership experience
withinconstruction,
property development,
propertyinvestmentor
a similarly project-driven environment, together
withdemonstratedcapability
in complex, multi-entity structures.
n
A strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, WIP, cash-flowmanagementand project commercial performance will be important. Exposure to property investment, leasing and/or development will be highly regarded.
n
CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is expected.
n
Just as importantly, the successful executive will have the interpersonal maturity
tooperateeffectively
within a successful privately owned business. They will be confident working closely with owners and senior leaders, capable of providing
constructivechallengeand
independent advice,
whileremainingpragmatic,collaborativeand
commercially focused.
