Position Information

Murrumburrah High School is a small, vibrant co-educational government secondary school located in Harden, serving students from the twin towns of Harden and Murrumburrah and surrounding rural communities. With 163 students enrolled and around 22% idenfitying as Indigenous, our school prides itself on fostering a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where every young person feels valued and empowered to succeed academically and personally.

Selection Criteria
n
Approval to teach Mathematics 7 - 12.
n
Capacityto deliver innovative and differentiated Mathematics teaching and learning programs, including integrating technology and a focus on numeracy, to inspire student engagement and improved learning outcomes.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff,
parents and the wider community.
n
Understanding and commitment to the NSW Department of Education's Aboriginal Education Policy.
n

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching prospect.
