Job Description
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a regional hospital environment.
Assume leadership responsibilities and clinical decision-making authority as required for the role.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Manage emergency cases ranging from acute presentations to critical care scenarios.
Adhere to all clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory standards set by AHPRA and local health authorities.
Requirements
Current registration with AHPRA, either as a specialist or general practitioner with the capacity to work in charge.
Proven experience in Emergency Medicine practice.
Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work effectively in a regional location, approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne.
Robust clinical skills and the ability to handle high-pressure emergency situations.
